The Derby Half Step has been designed for outdoor use to halve the distance of the doorstep rise for users
with limited mobility. The large platform allows you to be steady before attempting the next step.
The step is made from heavy duty tough plastic and is supplied with a slip-resistant rubber mat. It
has four fully adjustable feet to ensure level use.

User Instructions
1. Position the Half-Step alongside the building entrance. The longest side of the step should be
placed adjacent to the entrance.
2. If required, adjust the height of the step using the spanner supplied. This will allow for a level step
to be set. Do not screw the feet out more than 38mm measured from the underside of the step to
the bottom of the foot. Adjustment is only provided for stabilizing the step, not increasing the
height of the step.
3. Tread centrally onto the top surface of the step, avoiding stepping onto the corners or along the
edges of the step, as this is less stable for the user.
4. A well-positioned grab rail will assist in helping the user of the Half-Step to achieve a more secure
transfer.
Cleaning:
The Half-Step and rubber mat can be cleaned using any all-purpose household cleaner.
