The Onyx 2 medium risk, pressure reducing cushion is a 3’’ castellated pressure reducing foam cushion. Supplied with a waterproof/vapour permeable 2 way stretch cover with a non-slip base and carry handle. The Onyx 2 cushion has been developed to give superior pressure distribution and reduces the factors attributed to ‘’shear and friction’’. Suitable for those at medium risk of pressure ulcer development. The cushion cover is stitched and has a fully concealed zip, reducing the possibility of fluid ingress and therefore aiding infection control protocols.
